Instructions are easy to understand. Thank God have not had to use. If you are a senior with someone else living with you buy it.
Just got it yesterday and hope to god I never have to restart anyones heart ever, and definitely not the first day I own it
Placed order 3:00pm and received it the next day. It was a pleasure dealing with Dreamhug. I will be happy to let you know if I have occasion to use it.
I've been working in medicine for over a decade and, for the life of me, I can't imagine why these aren't more widely available than they are. AHA, Philips' website, and even my local fire department dragged feet in answering questions about procuring an (any!) AED. It's about as smart as insurance paying for glucometer test strips only !after! you're been diagnosed with DMII. The AED runs like it should, performs its self-testing as it should, and is set to go with a battery (mine will peter out in 2027) and one pair of pads (good until 2026). I bought a few sets of trainer pads and a spare battery to train those closest to me. It's small enough that you can carry it with you in a vehicle, backpack, or bag, and can be mounted on a bicycle (or motorbike) with a little creativity. I wish the pads and battery were a little cheaper a go but, if you break down the cost per the number of years they're good for, it's not a bad deal, especially if you have to use them to help save a life--for which a cost cannot be placed. To tell true, I was a little worried the site may have been a scam but delivery was a little earlier than stated, everything was boxed well and securely, and nothing was missing. Overall, pleasantly surprised and extraordinarily pleased. :) I think the title says it all: these are one of the medical gear you hope you never have to use but will be glad to have on hand if the time comes when you do need to help someone alive.
